I created HerdMate because while working as a ranch hand, I realized the limitations of recording newborn calves in the field.
HerdMate combines a custom-built IoT scale called The Yoke with a mobile app and UHF RFID ear tags to capture birth weight, photos, and animal identity automatically — right in the pasture. No paper. No forgotten numbers. No coming back later to enter data that's already gone.
